This top class award winning  local restaurant is beautifully situated on the waters edge at nearby Onerahi .Whatever the occasion you are celebrating during your stay ,here is a wonderful way to create a lasting memory. We will provide your transport to and from the restaurant, where you can choose a two or three course meal. (NB The cost of your drinks is not included, you will need to pay separately for these at the restaurant)

2. Walkers Special
Whangarei Heads is a paradise for walkers and trampers. Flutes lies in the shade of Mount Manaia, Mount Aubrey is similarly close and, Smugglers Cove, Peach Cove, Bream Head, and part of the Te Araroa walkway, are just some of the many varied and beautiful walks available on Whangarei Heads.

Transport to the start of, and collection from the end of the walks mentioned above is provided free of charge to guests staying 3 nights or more at Flutes

3.A Perfect Day/Dive Tutakaka

Both of these renowned and highly rated trips out of Tutakaka are within a short drive from Flutes. Stay 3 nights or more and include either trip as an exciting day out. We are happy to book and/or provide transport on request

4. A Day At The Bay

The Bay of Islands is world renowned and is easily reached by road from Flutes.

Stay 3 nights at Flutes and enjoy a one day trip to The Bay of Islands. We will drive you to Paihia, from where you choose one of the trips on the water provided by Fullers Great Sights, the major operator in the area. Most of the boats depart between 9.00am and 10.00am

5.On The Water

Enjoy either a half day fishing trip or a two hour tour of Whangarei Harbour. Transport to and from your boat is included. Equipment and bait are included in the cost of the fishing trip, View the stunning local landscape, including the peaks of Mount Manaia and Mount Aubrey, from the water.

Enjoy a guided tour around the sights of the Whangarei District, including the Whangarei Falls, AH Reid Park, The Town Basin,and Parahaka.

A visit to the Lion Park can be added on request, although a supplementary charge would then apply

7.Golfers Choice

Stay 3 nights at Flutes and include a day golfing at The Pines, Whangarei Heads' own local golf course. With a beautiful coastal backdrop, it is a challenging 18 holes (par 71). Transport to and from the course will be provided. Tee times are available on most days, but do please note that Sunday is club morning...

Clubs can be hired at the course if necessary, but please note this is not included in the price..

8.Around The Heads

Familiarisation tours around the sights of Whangarei Heads can be provided. You will see the volcanic peaks of

Mount Aubrey and Mount Manaia. Some of the many walks available will be pointed out and a short 20

minute 'taster' to Smugglers Bay is an optional inclusion. The many bays around the area will be highlighted

including of course the surf beaches such as Ocean Beach and Pataua
