Tours and Shuttle Services

Flutes has a comfortable air conditioned vehicle which seats up to 8 passengers (including the driver), and is fully licensed to provide passenger transport services. We will provide tour and shuttle services for guests visiting the area, as well as for local residents.

Our simple objective is to enable you to:

Shuttle Services

We can take you:

• To or from Auckland or Whangarei airports,
• To any of the local restaurants
• To The Zion Wildlife Gardens, famous for the Lion Man tv show
• Shopping – eg that girls day out at Sylvia Park?
• Theatre/Concerts-don’t stay overnight! See the show and let us drive you there and back!
• Rugby- AB’s, Blues, Warriors? We’ll take you to see any of them!

Tour Services

Local Tours

Local tours can be tailored to meet your requirements, such as vists to:

• Whangarei Falls
• A gentle tour around Whangarei Heads, visiting a selection of our beautiful beaches- with a stop for morning or afternoon tea!

Further Afield

Other attractions are further afield, but still within easy reach, and you can therefore use Flutes as a well positioned tour base from which to see more of Northland. A few suggestions:

• A day trip to The Bay of Islands. Visit Paihia,Russell,and/or Kerikeri
• Enjoy any of the Fullers water excursions
• Sail on the R Tucker Thompson
• A trip to Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach-we can link you with the coach service
• Visit Waipu museum and hear all about the intrepid settlers who moved from Scotland to Nova Scotia and ultimately to New Zealand’s Northland

We can happily arrange, and transport you to and from, activities to suit your choice such as:

• Golfing: there are many courses within easy reach,
• The Pines is nearest, just 15 minutes away
